Reid is on the 5th grade football team at SA. He is having a blast! (and so is his Dad) Mom is not so sure. I'm glad he's having fun and all but something about tackle football makes me a little nervous. I just pray ALOT for his and all the other players safety. They had a scrimmage against Heritage and won. Last week was their first game against Winston and beat them 18-6. Way to go Vols!!!! I'm having a hard time watching Reid and watching the ball and everything else that goes on with the game of football. After the game, and Reid was already in bed, I had to get Chip to explain everything to me. I was so lost. I said, " So, exactly how did we do tonight?" His response was,"What do you mean how did we do tonight -- WE WON!" I said,"I know, but how did Reid do?" He said, "You're kidding right?" ....ha We spent the rest of the night talking football. I'm slowly learning....ha

MSU Fan Day
This past Saturday we took the kids to State's Fan Day. They enjoyed getting autographs and pictures taken. We are ready for some football! Go Dawgs!!!
Back to School
The summer went by way too fast for me. We had a fun summer relaxing at the pool and playing ball. I was NOT ready for school to start but I guess it was time. First day of school.....
Happy Birthday Reid
Reid had a few friends over for a spend the night party. Wow! That was something! I didn't know they could stay up so late. (Thanks Chip for staying up with them) Those boys didn't go to sleep until 4:30A.M. Unbelievable! I don't know if I'm ready to be a Mom of teenagers...ha They were really good and had LOTS of fun. I can't believe he's 11 -- Where does the time go?
Fun at the Beach
Sharing some pictures from our fun and relaxing vacation. The first part of the week my Mom, brother and his family joined us and the remainder of the week was just us. The condo had a slide and a lazy river. We would spend hours going down the slide right into the lazy river and floating for hours..... Lots of fun memories!!!

Tubing in the Bayou
I know, once again, I'm way behind on blogging. I get so busy and forget to sit down and add pictures. Forgive me for not being descriptive - just trying to catch up.
On our way to Orange Beach this summer we stopped by Ocean Springs to spend the night and visit with friends. It was adventurous to say the least. The kids (& Dad) went tubing in the bayou. They had fun except for the jelly fish that got Graham :-(
We got to visit and catch up with friends and after dinner this is all I heard, "Please can we tube with our friends. Mr. Greg said he would take us. " I was thinking, "Surely not, it's almost dark." But off they went. What fun Dads we have......Tuesday, July 21, 2009
The Brothers
Reid and Graham with Luke and Hayes after a game. This is one of my favorite pics. You don't see brothers like this too often....
Cute Hair...
Em wanted to cut her hair off a couple of months ago and I was really hesitant. It turned out so cute, now she wants to go shorter before school starts. She loves it! (and so do I)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRAHAM
I cannot believe that my baby is 6! Wow, where has the time gone? He wanted a swimming party this year so we celebrated with lots of friends at the country club. (His birthday was June 20 -- just a little late posting)
What a cool golf cake!
What a cool golf cake!
Can you tell what his favorite gift was??? Thanks Nana!!
We love you Graham!
Hanging Out with Friends
Em and Graham enjoyed hanging out with friends during all the long hot games....
ALL-STAR
Our little pitcher did a great job this year. It was an exciting year and he had lots of great plays and great hits. Chip could do a much better job than me explaining all the plays. Reid had a great year and was voted an all-star. Way to go Reid! That was very time consuming but lots of fun. I didn't realize how on edge one could be watching their son pitch. It drove me to eating sunflower seeds. (I know - not very attractive but it's what kept me going)
T-Ball
This was Graham's first year to play t-ball. To be honest, I forgot how much fun t-ball is....ha Sometimes it seems like the game will never end. He did a great job hitting and catching the ball. Good job Graham!!! I tried putting several pictures on here and my computer is giving me fits. Maybe I'll add some later. Here's a favorite! Can you tell we love ball???
Poppa's Visit
I know I'm WAY behind with blogging. Hopefully I can catch up from the last couple of months. Poppa came for a visit in May to watch the boys play ball. It was a fun weekend and even though it was a busy weekend - they were still able to fit in a game of golf...ha We had fun Poppa. Come visit again soon.

Congratulations...
Today was the LAST day of school. I feel like we've been dragging this "end of the school year" thing out long enough. Well, today was awards day for 4th-6th grade and the LAST day. Reid was recognized with the spelling award for his class (he was also in the spelling bee this year) and Principal's List award. (ALL A's & B's) Way to go Reid!!! We are proud of you!!!
Bittersweet...
Graham had his end of the year party last Friday. This was a bittersweet time for me. Probably, because my I let my baby go to Pre-K this year and I can't believe it's over. Boy, time flies. We are so blessed to be a part of a wonderful school. His teacher this year was unbelievable. We fell in love with her because she took such good care of my baby for one and two she is a model of the fruit of the spirit. Thanks Mrs. Sarah for such a wonderful first year. It is one we will always remember and hold near and dear to our hearts. Graham we are proud of you for a terrific first year of school. You learned lots and made lots of friends but more important than that, you learned more bible verses to hide in your heart.

Beach Day
Graham's Beach Day was also today. It was a frigid morning so by the time I made it to beach day from field day, he was an ice cube and ready to go home. Of course, I took him. (poor little thing) I only got a couple of snapshots....
